Privacy policy

1. Collection, processing and use of personal data

When you visit this website, we do not collect any personal data from you. Personal data is only collected if you provide it to us yourself using the contact form, a registration or inquiry form or by leaving comments.

2. Use of your own cookies

When certain pages are accessed, a so-called "session cookie" is set. This is a small text file that is automatically deleted from your computer at the end of the browser session. This file is used exclusively to be able to use certain applications. You can change the settings of most web browsers so that your browser does not accept new cookies or you can delete cookies that have been received. How this works specifically for your browser can usually be found out using its help function.

When you post a comment on our website, it may be a consent to save your name, email address and website in cookies. This is a convenience feature so you do not have to re-enter all this data if you write another comment. These cookies are stored for one year.

3. Server log files

As with every connection to a web server, the server of our web hosting provider Hostpoint AG, Neue Jonastrasse 60, 8640 Rapperswil SG, logs and stores certain technical data. This data includes the IP address and the operating system of your device, the data, the access time, the type of browser and the browser request including the origin of the request (referrer). This is necessary for technical reasons in order to make our website available to you. The web hosting provider uses technical and organizational measures to protect this data from unauthorized access and does not pass it on to third parties. Insofar as we process personal data, we do this on the basis of our interest in offering you the best possible user experience and ensuring the security and stability of our systems.

4. Comments

When you write comments on the website, we collect the data that is displayed in the comment form, as well as the IP address and the user agent string (this identifies the browser) in order to support the detection of spam.

If you write a comment, it will be saved indefinitely, including metadata. In this way, we can automatically recognize and approve follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue. Visitor comments could be checked by an automated spam detection service.

An anonymized character string (also called hash) can be created from your e-mail address and sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you are using it. You can find the data protection declaration of the Gravatar service here: https://automattic.com/privacy/.

5.Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", ie text files that are stored on your computer and that enable your use of the website to be analyzed.

Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the website on behalf of the operator of this website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

You can prevent the storage of cookies or delete them again by making the appropriate setting in your browser.

6. Embedded content from other websites

Contributions on this website can contain embedded content (e.g. videos, images, contributions, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional tracking services from third parties, and record your interaction with this embedded content, including your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to this website.
