Enjoy fondue in a historic buffet car

Take a seat in the nostalgic buffet car of the Steam Railway Association of the Zurich Oberland and enjoy Try our house fondue, which is made in Saland.

The historic buffet car of the DVZO will be on First Advent weekend of November 27th and 28th, 2026 to your exclusive gourmet station. Directly at the siding of the Saland train station, in front of the building of natürli Zürioberland AG offers a truly special experience. Completely without the distraction of a drive, but with full flavor (because the windows fog up quickly anyway when enjoying fondue).

What to expect:

  • Exclusive Advent event on a small scale with a maximum of 32 guests;
  • nostalgic atmosphere in the buffet car of the DVZO (stationary without movement);
  • Enjoyment of natürli House fondues served classically with unlimited bread;
  • and a regional wine selection, as well as a fine dessert.

The event will take place with a minimum of 20 participants. We reserve the right to cancel events at short notice.

Price per person CHF 59.–

The price includes fondue with bread (all you can eat), excluding drinks and dessert.

Reservations and payment of the flat fee are exclusively via Eventfrog.

Remaining consumption costs will be collected on site via TWINT, EC card or cash.

The natürli Zürioberland AG in Saland is easily accessible by public transport and car. The buffet car will be zwischen dem natürli building and the train station placed.
