Anyone who has ever tasted cheese directly in the cheese cellar knows that cheese from the cellar tastes more intense and authentic than cheese from plastic packaging. How do you ensure that the cheese retains its characteristic aroma on its way from the cellar to the customer? Quite simply: We bring the cellar to the customer!
In order to be able to offer customers cheese as fresh as from the cellar, the natürli zürioberland AG has developed an innovative and bold shopfitting concept: The cheesehumidor.
The cheesehumidor is a room designed for the optimal storage and maturation of cheese. It ensures a constant humidity and temperature to perfect the maturation and taste of the cheese.
natürli In 2014, the company developed an innovative and unique shopfitting concept, which was later further developed with Coop and rolled out across Switzerland: The Cheese Hüsli was born.
The Chäs-Hüsli has ideal ripening conditions for the cheese. Room temperature and humidity are constantly regulated. The wood in our Chäs-Hüsli comes from sustainably managed forests in the Zurich Oberland.

The climate
The Chäs-Hüsli offers a shopping experience for all the senses: whoever enters the room enters a miniature cheese cellar, also in terms of the climate. The Chäs-Hüsli is consistently cool at 15°C and has around 94% humidity. This corresponds to the real climatic conditions in a cheese cellar. Thanks to ideal climatic conditions, the cheese can be stored openly in the Chäs-Hüsli - so it retains its authentic aroma.
