Looking back at the May 1st cheese market
The popular cheese market took place again on May 1st, 2026. As the official flagship event of the Zurich Culinary Region 2026, the event attracted an even larger audience than in our 30th anniversary year the previous year.
Around 35 producers presented over 200 cheese specialties as well as other regional products, which were met with great enthusiasm by the thousands of visitors.
Despite high expectations following the anniversary year of 2025, the market attracted even more participants in 2026. This record number of visitors demonstrates the growing appeal of the event and the strong connection people have with regional products.
