The Corona crisis pretty much turned everything upside down in the past year. 2020 was an exceptional year even in the grocery trade, although it was far less restricted by closings than the rest of the retail trade: hamster purchases at the beginning of the pandemic, lack of Sunday sales at Christmas time, reduced opening times and visitor numbers.
